Laura i Filon
Już miesiąc zeszedł, psy się uśpiły,
I coÅ› tam klaszcze za borem.
Pewnie mnie czeka mój Filon miÅ‚y,
Pod umówionem jaworem.
Nie będę sobie warkocz trefiła,
Tylko włos zwiążę splątany;
Bo bym siÄ™ bardziej jeszcze spóźniÅ‚a,
A mój tam tÄ™skni kochany.
WezmÄ™ z koszykiem maliny moje,
I tÄ™ plecionkÄ™ różowÄ™:
Maliny będziem jedli oboje;
Wieniec mu włożę na głowę.
Prowadź mnie teraz, miłości śmiała!
Gdybyś mi skrzydła przypięła!
Å»ebym najprÄ™dzej bór przeleciaÅ‚a,
Potem Filona ścisnęła!

Laura and Filon
The moon is shining, all dogs are sleeping,
Something is clapping in the trees,
My dear Filon is waiting for me,
Under the mighty sycamore
I don't have time to braid hair this evening
I'll tie it tangled at the back,
Since I'm so late, and he is still waiting
My dear Filon misses me
I'll put raspberries into a basket,
Flowers and herbs to make a wreath
Delicious fruit we will eat together,
I'll put the garland on his head.
Lead me, oh lead me my glorious feeling,
I wish I could fly like a bird
Then I'd fly over the wood so quickly
To kiss and embrace my Filon
